PATRICK EWING: THE GREATEST KNICK EVER

Patrick Ewing announced his retirement today. 17 years. alot of All star games, top NBA 50 players of all time. the drop step. (did he ever travel?) the finger roll. the patented fadeaway jumper. the best shooting big man ever. the hoya destroya. the legend that is Patrick Ewing. so many memories. the block shot on Hakeem. the fingeroll. the classic blocks. the big scores.

there are the failures to numerous to count. Jordan always laid the smackdown on my beloved knicks. but screw that. i'll remember the good times. Ewing is the greatest Knick ever. #33 will hang in the rafters of MSG. Ewing will stutter his way through a lame cliched speech. But thats the beauty of Ewing. He's just being himself.

Would we have won in 99 if Ewing were there? nobody knows.

A stellar, awesome career. It's sad to see him retire.

Thanks big guy for 15 seasons.
